Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes Teknatic LLC's ("Teknatic" or "We") privacy practices in relation to the use of the Teknatic website and the Teknatic Enterprise website and services offered therein (collectively, "Services").

You automatically agree to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use simply by using or logging into the Services. You have the option to not provide information by choosing not to become a User or by not using a particular feature of the Services for which the information is being collected.

Information Collected

Our primary purpose in collecting personal information from you is to provide you with a safe, smooth, efficient, and customized experience. This allows us to provide services and features that most likely meet your needs, and to customize our service to make your experience safer and easier. We only collect personal information about you that we consider necessary for achieving this purpose.

When expressing an interest in obtaining additional information about the Services, or registering to use the Services, we require you to provide personal contact information, such as name, company name, address, phone number, and email address. When purchasing or subscribing for the Services, we may also require financial qualification and billing information, such as billing name and address, credit card number, and the number of employees within the organization that will be using the Services. When applying for a job, we may also require you to submit additional personal information as well as a resume or curriculum vitae.

As you navigate the Services, we may also collect information through the use of commonly-used information-gathering tools, such as cookies and Web beacons. This includes standard information from your Web browser (such as browser type and browser language), your Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, the URL you just came from, and the actions you take on the Services (such as the Web pages viewed and the links clicked) and we store the information in a log database for later analysis. We may provide your IP addresses to payment intermediaries in the course of the payment process.

We use cookies to remember users’ settings, store login addresses, authenticate users, run website experiments, and store analytics data. Users can control the use of cookies at the individual browser level. If you reject cookies, you may still use our site, but your ability to use some features or areas of our site may be limited. Our primary authentication cookie is only used to authenticate you with the Services, is session specific and the browser automatically deletes it once you close the browser window. Please note that blocking cookies at the browser-level does not usually prevent this transient session-only cookie.

We mainly use the information collected about you to perform the Services requested. For example, if you fill out a Contact Me Web form, we will use the information provided to contact you about your interest in the Services.

We may also use your information for marketing purposes. We use credit card and other personally identifiable information (such as PayPal email addresses) you submit to us on the Service, and other information that we collect, as required, to process payments you make through the Service through our payment processor intermediaries. We do not store credit card or other payment method information. Our payment processors have the sole and complete responsibility for the storage of credit card and payment information. We may also share personally identifiable information with our payment processor intermediaries for risk management and fraud prevention.

These uses improve the Service and better tailor it to meet your needs, so as to provide you with a smooth, efficient, safe and customized experience while using the Service.
